Edinburgh is awash with restaurant pop ups at the moment – what a time to be a foodie in Edinburgh!
Radisson Blu are calling all gourmet burger lovers to visit their Burger & Fringe pop up during August. Burger & Fringe opened on 4th August offering a selection of 100% Wagyu beef burgers, and we went down to take a look…
Wagyu Burgers cost £10.50 with the Classic Burger priced at £9.50 which is pretty reasonable by central Edinburgh standards. In addition to the burger menu there are other favourites including North Sea Battered Cod and Chips, 28-Day Dry Aged Rib Eye Steak, and Cullen Skink. Basically even if you take a burger hater, they’ll be just fine.
We ordered the Mozzarella Sticks and Southern Fried Chicken Popcorn to share – healthier options are available!
While there were other options, we couldn’t see past the burgers. I had the Big Smoke which featured pulled pork and sweet fried onions. The meat was tender and it was all served on a brioche bun, it’s just what you need after a long day at the festival.
My friend had the Royale Celebration which was topped with brie and cranberry.
Despite the desserts looking super tempting, we were stuffed and had to submit.
I’ve tried quite a few burgers around Edinburgh and these are right up there with the best, get along and try them out before it’s too late!
