There are lots of lovely places to walk around Edinburgh, one of our favourite spots is Cramond. We took a drive down last week for a walk along the prom, unfortunately it was a bit icy and we were quick to retreat to the warmth of the Cramond Gallery Bistro.
We ordered the Lentil Soup which we thought was a little expensive at £4.95. however it was served with a freshly baked roll and was very tasty.
I love the Cheese Scones here but couldn’t manage one alongside the soup, I decided to take one home with me instead. I was a bit surprised to find that they had no paper bags for taking away things like this, despite selling muffins and chocolate bars etc. Not to worry, I wrapped it in a napkin and popped it in my pocket. I enjoyed it with a thick layer of lurpak for supper later that evening.
Cramond Gallery Bistro is in a great location, and everything I’ve eaten here has been really tasty. I’d recommend it as a good place to pitstop during a walk or bike ride.
