After travelling up to the scenic town of Crieff for a meeting, we decided to take advantage of some free time afterwards to grab a spot of lunch at somewhere new. Delivino was highly recommended to us. It was exactly what we were looking for, with an Italian bistro style interior and relaxed atmosphere.
The pizza selection, as you would expect in an Italian cafe, was extensive and I cannot resist a good pizza. In fact we both ordered pizza, which is very rare.
We chose the Sausage Pizza which had Italian sausage, roast peppers, rocket and parmesan and the Goats Pizza, which had goats cheese, balsamic onions, walnuts and rocket. They tasted fresh, full of flavour and the stonebaked bases were crisp and light.
We also ordered a side of Spiced Potato Wedges served with an Aioli. They were nicely cooked with crispy outside and fluffy potato on the inside.
For dessert we made good use of the specials board and ordered Toasted Coconut and Basil Pannacotta. We had this to share but it was so good I felt like I needed my own!
There is no better way to finish an Italian meal than a good Italian coffee. We ordered a Decaff Americano and a Flat White. Really good strong coffee brewed to perfection.
