There are lots of fantastic foodie experiences to enjoy in Edinburgh. I look forward to sharing many of them in the coming weeks and months. One of the regular foodie events in Edinburgh is the Foodies Festival. We attended the summer festival and were delighted to receive tickets to feature the Christmas version.
Wisely the Christmas Foodies Festival is held indoors, it was in the Edinburgh International Conference Centre this year.
Inside you will find the artisans village, the Cake and Bake Theatre, masterclasses and street food to enjoy.
The Christmas Foodies Festival is hugely popular, as you can see many photos were taken as we moved along with the crowd! It definitely had the bustling market feel!
It’s the perfect place to pick up Christmas gifts, we bought several.
Bizarre chocolate comes in a range of flavours that includes Bubblegum Sundae, Bacon and Christmas Dinner! We couldn’t resist and bought all three. All as bizarre as they sound.
Lord Nelson’s delicious spiced rum liqueur. Don’t mind if I do…
Gin still having its moment at this year’s festival.
Poporopo gourmet popcorn, flavours include Peanut Butter, Gin & Tonic and Sea Salt. We bought one of each!
Truffle oil, really regretting not picking up some of this. A good excuse to visit the next Foodies Festival.
Coulston cookery school.
We had a great couple of hours at the Foodies Festival. It’s the perfect place to pick up your foodie Christmas gifts. Be warned though, it does get very busy.
