After our day in France, we sailed on to Spain where we docked in Bilbao. Here we had an excursion arranged that would take us to the Guggenheim.
It was another beautiful day and after a quick look around the museum, we were back on the hunt for great food.
Our first find was a gelato shop selling these ice cream roses. We’d never seen anything like it before so were keen to give it a try, I chose the pistachio gelato and the centre of the rose was made from a strawberry macaron.
Back on the bus and a short bus ride further into Bilbao, we were taken to a pretty square with bars all around the perimeter. We only had a short while, but we quickly picked up some Pintxos to try.
So much to choose from…
We settled on Tortilla and Jamón, and a glass of Amstel. Perfect.
