Every neighbourhood needs a good Italian restaurant and Papilio seems to fill that role in Bruntsfield.
I was dining with clients so had the chance to see quite a few of the dishes on offer.
A generous portion of olives and bread.
Mozzarella wrapped in parma ham with parmesan shavings.
Pictured at the top, mussels with lobster ravioli.
After a bit of deliberation I settles on the Pollo Papilio, a breast of chicken stuffed with spinach and cheese with a garlic, lemon and white wine sauce. The sauce was really lemony but I love lemon so it suited me fine.
For dessert I chose the Tartufo, ice cream coated in chocolate and nuts.
We rounded off a lovely evening with some limoncello.
